I am a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology studying under Dr. Paul Ingram at Texas Tech University. I've engaged in interdisciplinary research and clinical work—gaining experience working with neurodevelopmental researchers, psychiatrists, and social workers. My long-term goals include completing post-doctoral training in neuropsychology and working as a professor at an R1 university. 

Research:

My research training spans two years of undergraduate research, one year of post-baccalaureate research, and over three years of doctoral training. Largely, my publications have focused on assessment validation, neurocognitive development, and contextual influences on assessment. Currently, I am interested in how we assess people, what influences assessment responses, and how we can bridge psychological assessment and treatment (e.g., psychotherapy or neurorehabilitation).

I am familiar with R, Mplus, and SPSS. Additionally, I am proficient in basic statistical methods (e.g., t-test, ANOVA,  regression), classification statistics and test validation, meta-analysis, structural equational modeling (SEM), item response theory (IRT), network analysis, and basic mixture modeling (i.e., LCA/LPA). I taught the graduate SEM lab at TTU in spring 2026 and taught the undergraduate statistics lab in TTU in spring 2024.

Clinical Experience:

Interdisciplinary care:  I currently work in an age-friendly memory clinic that uses a collaborative care model. I work alongside a care team (e.g., psychiatrist, nurse practitioner) to evaluate older adults for dementia and provide resources for caregivers (e.g., advanced care planning).

Dementia assessment: I conduct and supervise graduate students conducting comprehensive neuropsychological assessment of clients suspected of having dementia.

Psychotherapy: I provide psychotherapy using a third-wave cognitive behavioral therapy integrated with person-centered techniques. I view psychological flexibility and emotion regulation as key processes for change, with collaborative therapeutic processes facilitating growth. My clinical training spans Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Psychodynamic therapy, and third-wave cognitive behavioral techniques like ACT and DBT.
