Doctoral Trainee in Counseling Psychology
I am a Counseling Psychology doctoral trainee studying under Dr. Paul Ingram at Texas Tech University. Broadly, my research spans psychometrics, executive functioning, and neuropsychology across the lifespan. I have experience in cognitive, assessment, and neurodevelopmental labs, and most of my publications thus far examine response patterns within psychological assessment. I know how to code in SPSS, MPlus, and R. My statistical competencies include:
- Basic statistical methods (e.g., t-test, ANOVA, regression)
- Classification statistics and test validation
- Meta-analysis
- Structural Equational Modeling (SEM)
- Item Response Theory (IRT)
- Basic mixture modeling (i.e., LCA/LPA)
Clinically, I have experience administering dementia assessments and providing psychotherapy to young adults (~20 to 30). My clinical training spans Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Psychodynamic therapy, and third-wave cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
I have over five years of mentorship experience and over two years of teaching experience. I served as a teaching assistant for Texas Tech University's Statistical Methods lab (PSY 2400) and Research Methods lab (PSY 3401). I also taught General Psychology (PSY 1300) for over one year.
My long term goals include completing post-doctoral training in neuropsychology and working as a professor at an R1 university.
